The register contains, in particular, information on deliberate release of GMOs into the environment, and on products containing GMOs to be placed on the market and their use. The information entered in the register of GMOs can be accessed in accordance with the regulations governing the conditions for transmission and use of public information. Data from the register of GMOs can be provided free of charge to other state bodies, organizations and authorized providers of public services and local authorities if they need to perform tasks related to the areas of the ministry responsible for environmental protection.
