Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning, which is composed of 13 articles, sets out the content and method of keeping the register of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and the method for determining costs for the transmission of data from the register. The register contains, in particular, information on deliberate release of GMOs into the environment, and on products containing GMOs to be placed on the market and their use. The information entered in the register of GMOs can be accessed in accordance with the regulations governing the conditions for transmission and use of public information. Data from the register of GMOs can be provided free of charge to other state bodies, organizations and authorized providers of public services and local authorities if they need to perform tasks related to the areas of the ministry responsible for environmental protection.
