Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on reproductive material of forest trees (Republika Srpska), determines the establishment and prescribes contents of the Register of forest plant varieties. This text also defines necessary procedure for entry into such Register, among the procedure for recognition of newly created varieties and examination of varieties. Varietal (tested) reproductive material of forest trees is reproductive material produced in seed stands, seed plantations, from parent trees, clones or clone mixtures, whose superiority must be demonstrated in comparative tests, as in accordance with the regulations in the field of variety recognition of forest plants, or assessed on the basis of genetic evaluations of parts of related starting materials.
