This Regulation enters into force on 1 March 2009.
Abstract

This Regulation prescribes conditions, criteria and procedure for classification of pig meat into categories and classes on the slaughter line, the method and procedure for sorting, grading and marking of carcasses with prescribed signs, the conditions to be fulfilled by persons carrying out the process of classification, and supervision of these operations.
