Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down requirements for the quality and labelling of fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption in accordance with Council Directive 2001/112/EC relating to fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption. For the purposes of these provisions fruit juice means unfermented product derived from one or more healthy and ripe fruits, fresh or frozen, with the colour, aroma and taste, typical for juice of fruits from which it is produced. Concentrated fruit juice is obtained from juice of one or more fruits by physical processes which taken out some part of water. If the product is intended to the final consumer, should be taken at least 50 percent of water. This Regulation is composed of 18 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Categories of products (Sec. 2); Authorized ingredients, treatments and substances (Sec. 3); Labeling (Sec. 4); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 5).
