Abstract This Regulation prescribes the quality requirements which must be met by fresh raw milk at the moment of purchase, also the manner and procedure for testing of its effective quality, including the conditions that must be met by authorized laboratories for testing over the quality of milk, used as method for determining the price of milk. This text states that milk is a product of the mammary gland, obtained by the husbandry of one or more healthy dairy animals, identified or registered for identification, properly fed and kept, which is not heated to a temperature higher than 40C. Milk, depending on the type of dairy animals of which it is obtained, can be classified as cow's, sheep's and goat's milk.
