This Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2005.
Abstract

This Regulation provides for procedures and methods for the import and export of certain dangerous chemical substances and preparations. The Regulation consists 3 Chapters divided into 26 articles, and of 9 Appendixes. The Minister of Environment and Water shall issue an import licence to importers of dangerous chemical substances or preparations which are severely restricted for use (arts. 15 to 18). The Minister of Environment and Water shall issue a certificate of export registration of dangerous chemical substances or preparations pursuant to Appendix No. 1 (arts. 19 to 24). Dangerous chemical substances and preparations pursuant to Appendix No. 1 shall be packaged and labelled in compliance with the requirements of the Protection Against the Harmful Impact of Chemical Substances and Preparations Act. The import and export of dangerous chemical substances and preparations which constitute persistent organic pollutants (Appendix No. 2) shall not be permitted.
