Abstract

The present Regulation, issued by the Swedish Forest Agency, lays down provisions and guidelines on notification requirements concerning forestry measures. Article 1 requires that activities and measures that may significantly impact the natural environment be reported for consultation. Articles 4-10 contemplate measures and activities of various kinds, which by their nature are such that they risk significantly altering the natural environment and must always be reported for consultation to the Swedish Forest Agency. These include forest fertilization, ditch cleaning, wood ash recycling, etc. Specific rules on the content of the notification are described.
