Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the method of conducting health examinations and sets the method for taking samples of seed and commercial potatoes over which phytosanitary monitoring shall be carried out. The health inspection of seed and commercial potatoes is carried out at the places of production, the places of import and the places of storage and distribution. For each health inspection of seed and commercial potatoes at the places of production, places of import and places of storage and distribution, a record shall be produced. During the production of commercial potatoes produced in the Republic of Macedonia, a visual inspection is carried out and, if necessary, samples are taken for laboratory analysis for the presence of latent infections (specified in article 5).
