Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the national Law on management of batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators, prescribes the manner of marking of batteries and accumulators and battery packs, the form and content of the symbol for separate collection as well as the form and content of chemical symbol for metals (all given in the Annex of this publication). This text is in line with the Directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators and repealing Directive 91/157/EEC.
