Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with the Montenegrin Law on livestock, determines the manner for keeping of breeding register of quality breeding cattle. The breeding register of quality breeding cattle is kept in written or electronic form. This register shall contain the following information: 1) single animal identification mark; 2) date of birth; 3) sex and race; 4) origin; 5) name and address of breeder and owner; 6) results of testing the production capabilities of that particular animal; 7) date of sale of the same; 8) date and reason for animal release. The provisions of the Council Directive 2009/157/EC on pure-bred breeding animals of the bovine species are transposed in this text.
