Abstract This Regulation prescribes the correct manner for the execution/performance of official controls over the presence of salmonella and other foodborne infections (intoxications); including the rules defining the procedures in case of the presence or suspected presence of zoonotic agents; and general and specific requirements, conditions and activities that should be adopted by food operators in order to prevent and eliminate the occurrence of zoonoses and salmonella (or similar).
