Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on game and hunting, determines the manner and animal welfare and health conditions for game breeding in facilities for controlled game breeding present on the territory of Montenegro, and further sets the necessary contents and method of development of breeding related game programmes. The following species of game can be bred in farms: fallow deer (Dama dama L.); red deer (Cervus elaphus L.); mouflon (Ovis musimon Pall.); wild boar (Sus scrofa L.); Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus L.) may be reared in farms, in the case of acclimatization before reintroduction (resettlement, repopulation).
