Abstract This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 27 articles and five Annexes, establishes measures to prevent major accidents and to reduce their effects on humans and the environment. The operator of a plant polluting the environment must take all measures necessary to the design, construction, operation, maintenance, major changes, stopping and leaving the operation to prevent major accidents and to reduce their consequences.
