This text entered into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette (originally published on 2 September 2011).
Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on waste management, provides for the list of POPs substances (persistent organic pollutants), the manner and procedure for the management of POPs waste and sets limit values of concentrations of POPs substances related to the disposal of waste containing or contaminated with such POPs substances (pollution control measures). Provisions of this text shall apply to waste that contains, consists of or which is contaminated with POPs substances as follows: 1) waste form electrical and electronic equipment containing PCBs, including waste generated during the disassembly of electrical and electronic equipment containing POPs substances and waste oils containing PCBs; 2) construction and demolition waste containing PCBs, including excavated material contaminated with PCBs; 3) waste POPs pesticides; 4) PFOS and PBDE stocks and waste contaminated with PFOS and PBDE; 5) waste contaminated with unintentionally produced POPs substances.
