Abstract

This Regulation determines the official list of native and alien plant species, including their hybrids, which may be used to establish plantations of short-flowering woody crops on agricultural or forest land. All plant species here listed are aimed as short-flowering woody crop cultures or short rotation coppice plantations, that are cultivated and harvested on the territory of the Republic of Croatia for the purpose of producing high biomass yields for bio-energy production purposes. This text also sets out the necessary manner and conditions under which such plant varieties may be grown.
