Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, and shall apply from 1 January 2013; except for the provisions of article 4 (paragraph 4) and article 13 (paragraph 1) which shall apply on 1 July 2013; the provisions of article 10 (paragraph 1, item 1) that applies to existing installations shall start applying from 1 July 2016 and the provisions of article 12 (paragraph 1) related to existing installations will be in force starting 1 January 2016.
Abstract

This Regulation determines the list of industrial plants and activities in which the emission of volatile organic compounds is controlled. Organic compound is any compound having in its composition carbon and one or more of the following elements: hydrogen, halogens, oxygen, sulfur, phosphorus, silicon or nitrogen, except carbon monoxide and inorganic carbonates and bicarbonates.
