Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on waste management, provides the list of electrical and electronic products containing hazardous substances, measures of prohibition and restrictions on the use of electrical and electronic equipment containing hazardous substances; and sets the manner and procedure of waste management of electrical and electronic products. Waste management for electrical and electronic products ensures conditions for the: 1) prevention of waste from electrical and electronic products; 2) reuse, recycling and other forms of utilization of such waste, as well as reduction of waste disposal; 3) improvement of environmental protection standards by manufacturers, importers, distributors, sellers and end users during the product life cycle, and especially in the treatment and disposal of waste from such electrical and electronic products.
