Abstract This Regulation, in order to ensure a high level of consumer protection, prescribes all general and specific requirements, methods for the correct labelling and declaration, presentation and advertising related to foods, including the information about nutritional value of food, as well as the forms and conditions stating the nutritional and health claims in food trade when the food without further processing is intended for delivery to the final consumer and/or supply of restaurants, canteens, hospitals, kindergartens, schools, social care facilities and other similar entities which will distribute the food to the final consumer.
