Abstract

This Ministerial Regulation, made under section 5a of the Ordinance on Slaughter of Animals and Inspection of Meat, prohibits the importation of meat other than slaughterhouses in the United States and the European Community, except is a slaughterhouse of another country was approved for export to the United States and the European Community. Importation of animal products mentioned in section 5a, meat and meat products excepted, is only allowed if those products do not constitute a danger to public health.
