Abstract

This Regulation determines the form, content and manner for keeping of the fishing cadastre related to fishing areas and fishing zones. This text also prescribes the method of collecting and submitting of data of importance for improvement and protection of fish stocks. The aim of this Regulation is to ensure the keeping of records on area and quality of fishing waters and their environment and creation of optimal conditions for the cultivation and preservation of fish stocks in such fishing waters, and other data of importance for the improvement and protection of fish stock in general. The cadastre is managed and established by the cantonal ministry in charge of agriculture, on the basis of data collected directly on the field, by organizations that use fish stocks in fishing areas or zones. Data from fisheries cadastre are the basis for the development and implementation of fisheries and economic bases and others annual and medium-term plans for the use and management of fish stocks.
