Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the national Law on waste management, prescribes the form and content of the request for establishment of a landfill for non-hazardous and inert waste. The form and content of the request for establishment of a landfill for non-hazardous and inert waste is given in the Annex which is part of this publication. The request for establishment of a landfill shall contain specific information on the founder, name of related domestic and/or foreign legal entity; memorandum of cooperation, agreement, letter of interests, letter of intent or similar. Also general data on landfill will be indicated: wider location data; hydrogeological and geological suitability, optimal transport distances based on the quantities of generated waste and relations with prohibited and protected zones; geological and hydrogeological maps and schematic representation of the distances between the municipalities and proposed landfill site; planned capacity (total volume), duration of the landfill and type of the landfill; and other as minutely listed in article 3.
