This Regulation enters into force on the day it is published in the Official Journal.
Abstract

This Regulation sets forth the features of seedbeds where true to type seeds are bred with an isolation distance and the rules to be followed in these areas by seed and crop producers. The Regulation further provides for the the establishment of a seedbed commission in each province evaluating and accepting seed production applications and defining special production areas. The Regulation consists 4 Chapters: Purpose; Basis and Definitions (I); Establishment, Duties and Authority of Seedbed Commissions (II); Features of Seed Breeding Areas and Rules to be Followed (III); Final Provisions (IV).
