Abstract This Regulation (for the purpose of article 9 of the national Law on forest reproductive material, which sets rules aimed to provide the starting material for the production of the selected and other reproductive material of known origin of forest trees) establishes the region of provenance of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) in eastern Serbia, with a total area of 1,628,549 (located on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, geographical coordinates: between 42º12'37 "and 44º41'42" north latitude and 21º20'03 "and 23º00'23" east longitude, at altitudes from 7 m to 1,729 m). The region of white pine provenance in eastern Serbia is marked with registration number 72. The region of provenance of white pine in eastern Serbia includes forest areas and forest land delineated by borders as closely specified in article 2 of the text.
