Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on packaging and packaging waste, determines the contents and provides for the Plan for the reduction of packaging waste for the period from 2020 to 2024. This Plan determines the national objectives for the management of packaging and packaging waste, related to the collection of packaging and packaging waste, reuse and recycling of packaging waste. In the period from 2020 to 2024, for which this Plan is adopted, the national goals for the management of packaging and packaging waste are the goals will regard the following: the amount of packaging waste that needs to be reused; the amount of raw materials in packaging waste that need to be recycled, within the amount of processed packaging waste; the amount of individual materials in the total mass of recyclable materials in packaging waste that needs to be recycled. The general goals are: 1) reuse of packaging waste in the percentage given in the tabular overview for each year covered by this plan; 2) recycling in the percentage given in the tabular overview for each year covered by this plan.
