Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on radiological and nuclear safety, determines: conditions and manner for disposal of radioactive waste and used sources; obligation to keep records on the same; deadlines and scope and manner of reporting; list and conditions for performing activities of disposal of radioactive waste and used sources and list of documents proving the process of issuing the approval on respected conditions. This text transposes the provisions of the Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom laying down basic safety standards for protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionising radiation, and repealing Directives 89/618/Euratom, 90/641/Euratom, 96/29/Euratom, 97/43/Euratom and 2003/122/Euratom.
