Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on 1 November 2008, when Regulation No. SKSFS 1996:1 ceases to apply.
Abstract

The present Regulation, issued by the Swedish Forest Agency, concerns the deliberate release of genetically modified forest trees intended for timber production. It complements the Decree (2002:1086) on the release of genetically modified organisms into the environment, in matters related to the application procedure, reporting obligation, transport of GMOs, fees, etc.
