Abstract This Regulation defines the manner for the implementation of appropriate and effective measures aimed to detect and control the Salmonella and other zoonotic agents at all relevant stages of production, processing and distribution, and especially at the level of primary production, including animal feed, also in order to reduce the risk posed to public health.
