Abstract

This Regulation concerns carrying into effect Regulation (EC) No. 1266/2007 as amended and included in the EEA Agreement in Annex I. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority supervises that the provisions of the regulations and individual decisions are made on the basis of the Regulation are being observed The Authority may make individual decisions to ensure that the provisions of the Regulations are carried out, including on infection remediation, barring of areas, the quarantine of premises, and enforcement fines and may in special cases dispense with the provisions of this regulation, provided that it will not contravene Norway's international obligations, including the EEA Agreement.
