Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Serbian Environmental Protection Law, prescribes the necessary content of the Accident Prevention Policy (articles 3-6) and the content and methodology of the preparation of the Safety Report (article 7) and Accident Protection Plan (article 8), which is prepared by the operator of the Seveso facility or Seveso complex. Accident prevention is a set of measures and procedures at the plant, complex and wider community level, which aim to prevent accidents, reduce the probability of accidents and minimize the consequences. The methodology for preparing the Safety Report contains the procedures and methods of hazard identification, analysis of consequences and assessment of the risk of a chemical accident in the Seveso plant.
