Abstract

This Regulation determines the conditions, criteria and manner of granting aid under measure I.9. "Temporary cessation of fishing activities - (self) isolation caused by COVID-19" within the European Union's priority "Promoting environmentally sustainable, resource efficient, innovative, competitive and knowledge-based fisheries", as part of the implementation of the Operational Programme for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia period 2014-2020, and further in accordance with several related European Union legislative documents as listed in article 1. The subject of this kind of aid is a monetary compensation to the holders of fishing privileges or licenses and crew members of that fishing vessel, as regards the temporary cessation or suspension of fishing activities (here related for fishing method that uses bottom trawls-trawling nets) due to the necessary self-isolation of crew members, caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
