Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the breeding of aquatic animals, the method of feeding, the method of preventing the occurrence of diseases and veterinary treatment in aquatic animals and the manner for cleaning and disinfection which are additionally used in the breeding of aquatic animals (see Annex for attached technical sheets and indication lists). This text is aligned with the provisions and requirements prescribed in the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 710/2009 amending Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007, as regards laying down detailed rules on organic aquaculture animal and seaweed production.
