Entry into force notes
This Regulation enter into force on 1 August 2009. except for the provisions of article 5, paragraph 4 and 5 which will enter into force eight days after the publication of this Regulation in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of articles 5, 16, 17, 18 and 22 which will enter into force on 1 January 2010.
Abstract

This Regulation provides for: a) the level of fees and charges to finance the costs of official controls carried out in establishments dealing with food of animal origin and feed; b) method of calculation and payment of fees and charges for official controls carried out in establishments dealing with food of animal origin and establishments dealing with food for animals; c) height and the method of calculation and payment of fees to finance the costs of sampling imported consignment of food of animal origin and feed; d) the time required for performing ante-mortem examination and post mortem examination as part of official controls in slaughterhouses; e) the frequency of inspections.
