It shall be located in Krasnodar region. Reserve shall have the following purposes: (a) conservation and protection of unique natural ecosystems; (b) forest management and conservation; (c) conservation of cultural heritage; (d) ecological monitoring; (e) ecological education; and (f) regulated tourism and recreation. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of reserve: (a) commercial hunting and commercial fisheries; (b) industrial and domestic waste disposal except for expressly provided areas for such purpose; (c) land reclamation and irrigation; (d) mining, except for exploration and abstraction of mineral potable water and medicinal mud; (e) timber extraction and procurement of non-timber forest products; and (f) removal of the objects of cultural heritage.
