It is located on the territory Chelyabinsk province. Reserve shall have the following purposes: (a) conservation and protection of unique natural ecosystems; (b) conservation of cultural heritage; (c) ecological monitoring; (d) ecological education; and (e) scientific research. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of reserve: (a) commercial hunting; (b) commercial fisheries; (c) land reclamation and irrigation; (d) mining; (e) timber extraction and procurement of non-timber forest products; and (f) removal of the objects of cultural heritage.
