This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation defines the concrete standards for the placing on the market of eggs, conditions to be observed in terms of quality and origin, classification based on quality requirements, and various additional marketing issues such as packaging, labelling, certification of origin, and monitoring over the rules here prescribed (all standards to be respected when placing eggs on the domestic and/or international market).
