The Regulation, which consists of 5 articles, aims to regulate provisions on special hunting program in the country. According to the Act, the hunting by high-ranking officials of foreign countries in Iran is exempted from general regulations of hunting and is subject to the provisions of the present Regulation. The Department of Environment is the responsible authority to issue a hunting authorization based on allowed quota of hunting per season. This quota is determined with regards to the status and population of spices, ecological conditions and capacity of each area for hunting.
