This Regulation enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation defines the requirements in terms to be met by edible oils and fats of vegetable origin, margarine, mayonnaise, and related products in terms of their classification, official denomination, physical, chemical, and organoleptic characteristics (sensory characteristics), and composition (type and quantity of raw materials, additives and other substances used in production and processing) of food in terms of quality and safety.
