Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 25 articles and two Annexes, lays down substantive requirements for the recognition of professional qualifications of veterinarians who have obtained the name of the veterinarian in the country of the European Union, European Economic Area or Switzerland. Qualifications of veterinarians are recognized as proper ones to practice veterinary medicine in the Republic of Slovenia or perform occasional veterinary services in the Republic of Slovenia, for veterinarians who are nationals of EU Member States, European Economic Area or Switzerland, and in these countries acquired their professional qualifications as well as third country nationals who have acquired professional qualifications in a Member State.
