This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation here sets the provisions aimed at establishing the food safety general principles that guarantee a high level of consumer protection in terms of food related information and presentation or advertising, taking into account differences in perceptions of consumers and their information needs, at the same time ensuring smooth functioning of the internal food market.
