All licenced plant protection products may be sold only upon prescription. The format of the prescription is laid down in this Regulation too. Filled prescriptions are valid for one month, and copies must be retained for a period of two years by sellers, users and by those who filled in the prescriptions. Qualifications of persons who are authorized to fill in prescriptions are defined in details. Responsibilities and obligations of those who are authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to fill in prescriptions, of those who are licenced to sell such products, and of those who use such products are listed as well.
