In particular, the Act prohibits causing noise pollution and obliges the Department of Environment to determine the standard limits of noise pollution. The vehicles inspection centers should examine the vehicles to comply with noise pollution standards. All aircraft manufactured in Iran or flying in Iran’s sky should comply with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization. The establishment and development of airports requires the environmental assessment of the Department of Environment in order to comply with noise pollution standards.
