Abstract This Regulation prescribes necessary precautionary measures and indicates the places intended for the construction of charcoal burners (lightweight black carbon residue produced by strongly heating wood in minimal oxygen to remove all water and volatile constituents), including the rules for their mandatory marking. Places where charcoal is produced should be in clearings outside the forest or enclaves in the forest and is has to be: 1. on flat terrains; 2. located by the water, the furthest 100 m from the water; 3. protected from constant winds; 4. near a road.
