Abstract

This Regulation aims at reducing substandard shipping in the waters under the jurisdiction of Turkey by monitoring the compliance of ships with the international standards and national legislation for marine safety, pollution prevention, protection of marine environment and shipboard living and working conditions. This Regulation does not cover fishing vessels, ships of war, naval auxiliaries, wooden ships of a primitive build, government ships used for non-commercial purposes and pleasure yacht
