Abstract

This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia is composed of 38 articles and three Annexes. The aim of the Regulation is to reduce pollution caused by substances and heat discharged into water. The Regulation establishes: limits of emissions in water and sewage; limits of emission of heat in water; methods of evaluation of emission of substances and heat; prohibitions, restrictions and other measures to reduce emissions of substances and heat in the discharge of waste water. This Regulation does not apply to discharges of radioactive substances which are produced by waste water. The Regulation is divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Limits (Sec. 2); Evaluation of emissions (Sec. 3); Environmental permits (Sec. 4); Prohibitions, restrictions and other measures to reduce emissions (Sec. 5); Measuring emissions of substances and heat (Sec. 6); Control (Sec. 7); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 8).
