This Regulation enters into force on 19 October 1998.
Abstract

This Regulation defines various issues related to the phytosanitary control (phytosanitary certificates, phytosanitary certificates for re-export and/or electronic equivalent document) measures that regard: the international trade (deriving from other states members of the European Union, and from other states that are non-members of the Union) with organisms harmful to plants, plant products and other; the possible spread of pests, the movement of plants, plant products and other similar and/or related substances or objects; the export and transit of plants, plant products and other; the production of plants and other products.
