Abstract

The Regulation, which consists of 13 articles, aims to regulate provisions on Pattern of Water Consumption in Various Purposes. In particular, the Regulation obliges all the ministries, organizations, governmental agencies, public service institutions, commercial unites and factories to reduce their water use. The Ministry of Energy in collaboration with the Standard Institute should determine the set of technical parameters and specifications for sustainable water consumption in the equipment, process and water supply systems. The Water and Sewage Company and National TV should make educational program and advertisements regarding reduction of water consumption and efficient water use. The Ministry of Energy should restore the old water distribution network and cut off the illegal connections.
