Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Federal Law on nature protection, applies to the European Programme Natura 2000 with the aim of forming an ecological network of protected natural habitat types and species on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and inclusion of certain areas into the international ecological network of such protected areas of natural habitats and habitat of protected species. This text transposes part of the Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora. Conservation objectives, rules of conduct and planning in terms of Natura 2000 Programme are also here regulated.
