Abstract

This Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning lays down, in accordance with Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy, the manner and scope of implementation and conditions of carrying out the monitoring of surface water, and the manner and form of reporting on the monitoring of surface water. The monitoring of surface water includes monitoring of hydrological phenomena which relates to chemical and ecological status of surface water bodies. The present Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Network of sampling (Sec. 2); Operational control and monitoring (Sec. 3); Inspection monitoring (Sec. 4); Carrying out the monitoring (Sec. 5); The monitoring program (Sec. 6); reporting (Sec. 7); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 8).
