Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Veterinary Compliance Criteria Act, determines detailed issues for implementation of the salmonella monitoring and control plan, the conditions for movements and placing on the market, official control, the conditions for the use of antimicrobial agents and vaccines, the tasks of laboratories that carry out investigations of operators and official samples, rules for sampling operators and rules for official sampling, measures in the case of Salmonel finding and measures in the event of an outbreak of food infection in people to implement the national Salmonella control programme in the stem flocks, flocks and flocks of broilers (also implementing several related EU legislative texts as listed in article 1).
