Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on management of electrical and electronic equipment and waste of electrical and electronic equipment, and for the purposes of the Law on waste management, prescribes minimum requirements for separate treatment of electrical and electronic equipment waste, materials and parts of such waste, as well as the minimum technical conditions for storage and treatment of that kind of equipment waste to be met by waste-equipment treatment installation. Separately collected equipment waste should be treated in a way where materials and parts, including substances and preparations contained in the same (as listed in article 2, including hazardous wastes/substances, plastic and other) are properly and safely handled.
